Moving a wounded person to a safe area is an important component of the system of first aid measures on the battlefield. The tactical military trolley was a response to the needs of our military, who face the problem of evacuating the wounded daily.
So far, our trolleys have proven themselves in combat conditions, particularly in the context of faster evacuation. The design of the trolley allows to place the wounded, providing them with stability during movement. The belt and slings allow the soldier who performs the evacuation to have his hands free to protect himself and perform the necessary actions. The speed of evacuation of the wounded is particularly important.
Doctors have a term called the “golden hour” — the time when first aid is needed to help the wounded because after that their chances of survival are reduced. The military trolley allows for a significant increase in movement speed compared to traditional evacuation on hands. This can be a decisive factor in providing the necessary medical care and saving the lives of the wounded in combat.
Our military advises to load 1– 2 trolleys into each evacuation vehicle and helicopter to facilitate the transportation of the wounded and make the most of every minute.
